27.11.2011 Synergy's trimmer Alexander Ekimov summarizes the outcome of the RC44 World Championship, where the Russian team captured 5 wins in match racing.
"The World Championship was tough", says Synergy's yachtsman. "Not everyone managed to race well in the RC44 Championship Tour-2011, and the latter regatta provided with a chance to do better. That's way many teams tried to add some experience yachtsmen and provide themselves with new tacticians. Tommaso Chieffi served as tactician at Synergy. He has a lot of experience, his presence made us stronger. We fought all over the regatta, and, to my opinion, we raced better. But we need to practice more and to achieve better results".
Synergy won a total of 15 races in match racing during the RC44 Championship Tour-2011 and finished in top-3 in 5 fleet races.
20.11.2011 The RC44 World Championship is over. Synergy came in 3rd in race number 10 after holding this position from the first mark till the end. Artemis became the RC44 World Champion in fleet racing. Three fleet races have been held on Sunday to close the RC44 World Championship. Katusha won all three and climbed from 7th to 4th position in the standings.
Artemis and Ironbound were contenders for the fleet racing title, and they competed until the last race. The Americans has a chance to beat the opponents, they could capture gold medals, if they would beat the Swedish side by 7 position in race number 11. But they didn't manage to do so and got silver. Artemis won the title, Peninsula Petroleum finished third.
20.11.2011 Three more fleet races are planned to conclude the RC44 World Championship and the RC44 Championship Tour-2011. The opening warning signal is scheduled for 11:30 GMT (15:30 Moscow time), and the last race has to begin before 3 p.m. because of the prizegiving ceremony. The forecast says the yachtsmen will experience 22-23 degrees and up to 18 knots of wind speed today.
Artemis and Islas Canarias Puerto Calero share the top spot in fleet racing standing of the World Championship after 8 races. Third place is split by Ironbound and Peninsula Petroleum, each has 41 points.

19.11.2011 Saturday is the penultimate day of the RC44 World Championship. Increasing wind speed is expected for today on Lanzarote. Changes of wind's speed and direction forced the organizers of the regatta to cut the schedule from three races to just one. There was a possibility of canceling the action for the first time in the RC44 Championship Tour this season.
Still one race was staged, while the wind wasn't stronger than 8 knots. Artemis won it to become the leader of the standings in fleet racing, and Synergy came in ninth.

18.11.2011 In contrast to previous two days of the RC44 World Championship, there was lack of wind in Puerto Calero on Friday, and only one fleet race was held.
The participant of the regatta were forced to wait about 2 hours before the starting sequence due to lack and instability of the wind. The organizers relayed the course and moved it in North-Eastern direction in an effort to catch the wind. Still the action has begun at 14:30. Only one race was staged.
Artemis was leading from start to finish and eventually captured the victory. The Swedish team became the leader of fleet racing part of the event.
